At Kalo Patch, we believe the places that shape us become part of who we are.

Born and rooted in Hawaiʻi, our brand celebrates the beauty of these islands through thoughtful design and timeless products. We wanted to create more than apparel and home goods—we wanted to create pieces that evoke a feeling of home, connection, and belonging.

Our name is inspired by the kalo patch, one of the most meaningful symbols in Hawaiʻi. Kalo represents nourishment, family, resilience, and an enduring relationship between people and the ʻāina. A kalo patch is a place where life is cultivated with patience, care, and intention. Those same principles guide everything we create.

Each Kalo Patch collection begins with inspiration from the natural and cultural landscapes of Hawaiʻi—from the graceful silhouette of the ʻiwa bird soaring above the coastline to the bold forms of kalo leaves, native flora, ocean currents, mountain ridges, and the quiet moments that define island life. Rather than replicating traditional Hawaiian artwork, we create original contemporary designs that honor the spirit of Hawaiʻi while expressing our own creative voice.
